William Prince has confirmed details for his highly-anticipated sophomore album, and unveiled the lead single “The Spark” – stream it below or via one of the services here. Titled Reliever, the eleven-track studio recording is slated for a February 7, 2020 release via Six Shooter Records in Canada, find pre-save/order options here. Reliever was produced in Nashville by Dave Cobb and in Winnipeg by Scott Nolan, the same duo responsible for Prince’s JUNO Award-winning debut, Earthly Days.

Reliever is very much a detailed examination “of what, who and how peace is found.” Moreover, the album tackles the topic of fatherhood and the emotions and realities that come with it. Prince sings on the track “That’s All I’ll Ever Become,” “I want to live to the second last day that my children do, selfishly so I can see them through.” The emotive album will undoubtedly see this musician continue his fast upward trajectory, and the upcoming UK, Ireland, and EU tour dates with Yola won’t hurt.
