Devin Brahja Waldman to Support Thurston Moore on His U.S. Spirit Counsel Tour
New York City’s Devin Brahja Waldman is now confirmed to open for Thurston Moore on his upcoming December Spirit Counsel tour. After sold-out performances across the UK and Europe, Moore is bringing the tour to the U.S. and tapped Waldman as the supporting artist. Waldman, also a co-founder of both Notable Deaths and Ziad Qoulaii Allstars, heads the ensemble known as BRAHJA, whose sixth album BRAHJA dropped on September 11, 2019, via RR GEMS Records.
For this tour, Waldman will perform a solo sax set before the Thurston Moore Group (Thurston Moore, James Sedwards, Jon Leidecker aka Wobbly, Steve Shelley, and Deb Googe) closes out each night’s performance.
