DEVIN TOWNSEND Promises ‘Special Set’ for BLOODSTOCK 2020 Headline Appearance
Organisers at Bloodstock have confirmed that the first headline for the 2020 weekend will be the mighty Devin Townsend.
Organisers at Bloodstock have weighed in with a special announcement confirming that the first headline for the 2020 weekend will be the mighty Devin Townsend.
Speaking about the set, details of which are still to be released, Townsend said: “I am putting together a VERY special one-off show for Bloodstock, with a heavy band, playing the very best material for an outdoor festival from my entire catalogue from SYL to Empath. I have always felt that if I was given one shot to knock it out of the park, I wouldn’t hesitate. And, my friends, this is that shot!”
Here’s a taster of Devin Townsend performing “Deadhead” at the Royal Albert Hall in London:
Also joining the bill will be Ukranian tech-metal beasts Jinjer and power metal favourites Gloryhammer who join the previously announced Skindred, Black Dahlia Murder, Butcher Babies, Vio-Lence, Dark Tranquility and Sacred Reich.
Bloodstock will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 6th-9th August 2020. Get info on ticket packages and additional information over at www.bloodstock.uk.com.
