Thanks to Pop-Punk Duo THE DOLLYROTS, Now “I Know How To Party” [Video Premiere]
Promoting Daydream Explosion, their latest album and first via Wicked Cool Records, pop-punk veterans The Dollyrots are debuting the video for the punchy single “I Know How To Party.”
Released on July 12th, 2019, Daydream Explosion is the latest and ninth full-length recording, and for first for Wicked Cool Records, from pop-punk veterans, The Dollyrots. Clocking in around 43 minutes in length, the fourteen-track album once again sees the husband and wife duo (bassist and vocalist Kelly Ogden and guitarist Luis Cabezas) do what they do best, have fun!
As on past releases, Daydream Explosion, well, explodes with the band’s signature punk and rock sound; loaded with heavy hooks, vivacious vocals, and instrumentals that are awesome all around. While varying topics are tackled, the recording’s overall vibe is that of fun, and no track better epitomizes this than “I Know How To Party.” Speaking of the song, Kelly says, “‘I Know How To Party’ is a song poking fun at ourselves and making the point that life is supposed to be fun. No one is perfect but everyone can party!”
Today we’re helping to debut the aforementioned single’s official music video and, once you’ve watched it through a few times, click here to purchase or stream Daydream Explosion. In other news, The Dollyrots recently wrapped up a tour and, sadly, for die-hard fans, won’t be back on the road until 2020. The good news, though, is that a “Daydream Explosion” Stage-It show is in the works for Sunday, September 8th at noon pst / 3pm est wherein the band will be playing the new album Daydream Explosion in its entirety. The gig is a “pay-what-you-want” event and details can be found here.
