It’s been a long journey for UK rockers Pearl Handled Revolver but here they are in 2019 ready to take a whole new collection of fans into their unique, dark world. That journey starts on July 5th, 2019, when the quartet release their new album Fantasy Reigns, an album that aims to take your mind to places it has never been.

To get you in the mood, the band are premiering the track “The Switch”, a song about which they had the following to say: “Despite being a very dark track it makes us really happy; we persevered and it transformed into something unlike anything we’ve done before, but it feels like exactly the sort of thing we should be doing!”

Promising everything from psychedelic rock to hallucinatory storytelling, Fantasy Reigns, is the culmination of a journey that has taken them through four EPs, two live albums, and three studio albums and has seen them share stages with everyone from The Black Crowes to Hawkwind. It goes without saying that a trippy world deserves a suitably mind-bending artwork so here it is:

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
