Are you ready, folks? This year, South Africa has seen some big bands play on home ground. The year isn’t over as yet and the bands keep coming. The Sicario Effect’s flagship, The Kraken is Alive, is proud to announce the second international act of US metalcore pioneers Atreyu to the line-up for the biggest Pirate Party in the world, Pirate Fest 2019 on 7 September 2019 at Marks Park in Johannesburg.
But wait, there’s more! The entire crew plus their new musical mates will be sailing to Cape Town for a show too! On 5 September 2019 expect to see Atreyu supported by Zombies Ate My Girlfriend, Treehouse Burning and Set For The Sky at Mercury Live.
This unique event will celebrate all things alcohol, pirates and rock n’ roll throughout the day. International bands Alestorm and Atreyu will be duly supported by top local acts Tweak, Fuzigish and Hellcats. South African celebrity comedian Rob van Vuuren will be the MC (as the Helmsman Righteous Rob) and tickets are available now.
