Hope This Reaches You is the latest record from the standout, up and coming rock n’ rollers, West Means Home, and to celebrate the release we have a special video track-by-track breakdown of the record’s new songs! After recently signing with Innerstrength Records, the Florence, Alabama southern five-piece released the new record on May 10th and are ready to take the world by storm (grab the album via Bandcamp here).

If you’re a fan of Taking Back Sunday, Manchester Orchestra or Say Anything then we almost, nearly and completely guarantee that you’ll love this group. Hope This Reaches You successfully combines a thrilling passion and soulful guitar riffs to create a “wall of sound” which smoothly translates from the studio to the stage. The band’s influences come primarily from early emo alternative rock, extending back to classic Southern rock for an original sound that we highly doubt you’ve ever heard before, or ever will hear again.

Since forming in 2015, momentum came quickly for West Means Home, as the release of their debut single and music video immediately garnered thousands of views and even the attention of Dashboard Confessional frontman Chris Carrabba! Carrabba gave the group a ringing endorsement through Facebook which drove even more attention West Means Home’s way. The release of Hope This Reaches You was preceded by the 2016 EP Something From Nothing, along with a split record with Boxer Joy.
