“Growing Up” by Highland [Review]
There’s rock, there’s electronic… and then there’s Highland, an upcoming LA-based band with a sound that will undoubtedly turn heads. Their new single, “Growing Up”, is best described as psychedelic rock with an alternative bite.
The brief, hypnotic intro immediately transports listeners to a crescendo of swirling atmospheric sounds and continues on to high-energy tempos and electrifying chords – think zero gravity meets pop punk. This forthcoming group is making all the right moves when it comes to this timely fusion.
