If you’re looking for a solid musician, one who writes compelling songs loaded with passionate passages that grip a listener’s focus, then you’re going to love singer-songwriter Grayson Erhard and our free download of his “Time To Move On” (Acoustic) single.
If you’re looking for a good musician who can write stupendous songs, well, you’ve come to the right place. Singer-songwriter Grayson Erhard, whom we recently introduced you to in a chat about his cover for the Gnarls Barkley hit “Crazy,” is back with an acoustic version of the song “Time To Move On,” once more accompanied by John Runnels of Morning Bear, plus singer-songwriter Andrea Pares. You can purchase “Time To Move On” through various digital outlets here.
Erhard is an extremely focused musician, always dedicated to improving and fine-tuning his craft. In writing his music, he often feels the pull between two different worlds, all too common to popular musicians today; being a “musicians’ musician” and welcoming the influence of popular music that’s more focused on hooks, emotive, catchy lyrics and grabbing “attention.” Erhard successfully navigates this space which is illustrative of his talent to appeal to not just one but several different audiences.
Grayson Erhard and Stevie Wonder team up for an epic rendition of the latter musician’s classic track, “Superstition.”
With an exclusive comment, just for us, on his new song “Time To Move On,” Erhard stated, “Knowing when to move on, whether with a relationship or an artistic endeavor, is extremely difficult. This song illustrates the various stages of a process requiring passion and love by taking you through an emotional roller coaster to eventually arrive back where you began. It’s how I feel whenever I put my heart and soul into anything. I’m in search of inspiration, then infatuated, then desensitized. Rinse and repeat.”
Erhard first drew notice thanks to the track “Manifest,” a song that bemoans modern society’s reliance and dependence on social media. Perhaps the largest “brush with greatness” moment Erhard has had thus far has been when R&B and Motown legend Stevie Wonder surprised him on stage at the 2017 NAMM show in Anaheim, California. You can check out the video of this epic encounter below. This moment with Wonder helped lead to the viral success that soon arrived for Erhard and he’s been riding the wave of momentum ever since. If you’re now dying for more from Grayson Erhard, you can check out his EP EARTHSHIP which first came to life inside of a Taos, New Mexico earthship with co-writer and drummer Bannigrin. What more could we possibly tell you about Grayson Erhard to get you interested? This is a name you’ll be seeing a lot more of in the months and years to come.
