If you’ve been paying attention to the site at all, you’d know that we previously featured The Fame with the premiere of their recent single “Wide Awake.” Now, back with more new tunage, we’re stoked to once again team with the Toronto-based rockers to offer a free, high-quality MP3 download of their song “Cherry Lipstick.” Available now through all main digital streaming providers, “Wide Awake” was released on March 15th and includes nearly 3 and a half minutes of lip-puckering rock that’s going to make you wanna smooch strangers.

Combining the tenacity and passion of ‘90s and ‘00s alt-rock with some memorable Beatle-esque melodies, the new song is yet another off the guys’ forthcoming debut EP which is slated for an early-2019 release. (Hurry up already, dudes! We want more music.) The EP was produced by Brian Moncarz who’s known for his work with Our Lady Peace, Moneen, and Circa Survive among others.

Commenting on the song, the band shared the following thoughts:

“A blast from the past, that sounds like the future – ‘Cherry Lipstick,’ our second single, is our rock anthem for 2019. A song about being young in the world of today, it draws heavily from our ‘90s alt-rock inspirations. While crafting the song, we wanted to create something anyone listening can relate to. ‘Cherry Lipstick’ is our second single from our debut EP, produced by famed Canadian music producer Brian Moncarz (Our Lady Peace, Tea Party, Circa Survive, etc.) set for release in the spring/summer of 2019, and the follow up to our debut single ‘Wide Awake.’”
