Following the release of lead single “Be Present” back in late 2018, Allison, Iowa-based rockers Miss Christine have returned with “Entitled,” the second track of the upcoming album, Conversion. Fronted by the bad-ass bassist and sophisticated songwriter, Christine Moad, Miss Christine is the artist’s solo project, one which sees her “reflect on her challenging experiences as a Nashville hired gun.” (Moad has played with a myriad of other musicians including Lucy Dacus, ELEL, and Kalie Shorr.)

Before you sift through her previous releases, press play on the premiere of brand-new music video for the above-mentioned “Entitled” wherein tackles topics such as double standards. “It really upsets me when my male friends get harassed that their harassment is not taken as seriously,” she comments.

Another great tune, while readying for work don’t forget to throw on “Skinny Jeans.”

Speaking further of the song and video, Moad was kind enough to send over an exclusive quote, noting:

“‘Entitled’ was the first song that I wrote when I moved to the farm in Iowa. After taking a few weeks to reflect on the experiences I had as a hired gun, I was finally able to express what I didn’t know how to say when these situations happened. Removing myself from that environment allowed me to find my own voice. Writing ‘Entitled’ gave me the strength to record Conversion in such a raw, organic way. Filming the music video was cathartic. My band in the video are some of the most badass musicians that I know and it was so much fun to come together and collaborate on a topic that unfortunately all of us have firsthand experience. Harassment happens across the gender spectrum and I hope that viewers feel empowered to stand up for themselves.”
