It’s Miller Time! What? Yeah, that has nothing to do with anything, but don’t blame us for that, blame some drunk publicist. Also, to further steal from said PR-ing human, if your week ain’t creakin’ along as well as you’d like, well, we’ve got some sweet, splinter-inducing sounds from the other end of the plank! While it might not be their full album (you’ve got to wait until February 8th to grab the band’s ten-track debut, From Scratch), we’re happier than a pudgy pirate to be sharing the latest single, “Runaway”, from New Jersey trio, Cyclone Static!

This group’s melodic punk sounds are steeped in indie and the guys have successfully partnered with Mint 400 Records for the release of their debut, which you may pre-order right here. Speaking of the the upcoming release, drummer Jonathan Levine was stoked to note:

“We are super happy with how our first album came out. After playing out a couple of years and honing these songs to perfection it is great to hear them come all together in one place. Stuart Richardson of The Lost Prophets mixed the album and gave it the big sound we were looking for as well as capturing our live energy.”
