After launching its 2019 edition with a hugely impressive list of bands in late 2018, Camden Rocks Festival has confirmed the Saturday headliner will be Frank Turner. Alongside the acclaimed, multi-talented punk and folk singer songwriter, Camden Rocks Festival has announced an additional ninety bands to the bill. These include legends such as American punk icon Richie Ramone, British alt-rock five piece The Wonder Stuff, London’s own punk-rockers The Professionals alongside the cream of new talent such as indie-rock prodigies Eliza And The Bear, alt classic rock band The Dirty Thrills, noisey punk upstarts Queen Bee, the atmospheric indie rock of Gold Key and the all Japanese girl garage punk of Mutant Monsters.

Frank Turner says: “I (mis) spent my youth getting the train to London and the tube to Camden as fast as I could, because I knew it was the epicentre of where I wanted to be in life. As an adult I’ve lived in and around Camden, and now I’m at the Camden Rocks Festival. It feels like exactly the right place for me to be, it feels like home. I can’t wait.”

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
