Dimebash 2019 @ The Observatory (Santa Ana, California) on January 24, 2019 [Photos]
Dimebash was a blast this year, as anyone would vouch. A sold-out Observatory in Santa Ana hosted the annual blowout last Thursday, kicking off NAMM.
Dimebash was a blast this year, as anyone would vouch. A sold-out Observatory in Santa Ana hosted the annual blowout last Thursday, kicking off NAMM. The event featured performances by Kill Devil Hill, Fireball Ministry, and Trendkill Revolution, followed by an all-star jam.
Lots of Pantera songs were played—loudly—along with some with masterful guitar solos, and tunes from bands such as Black Sabbath, KISS, Thin Lizzy, and Slayer. Notable among the musicians were Corey Taylor and Dave Grohl, the latter of whom was decked out in an apron, as he was not only cooking onstage with the band, but was literally cooking a brisket backstage for some of the guests.
Props to emcee Jose Mangin (SiriusXM), for his balls-out vocal performance on Pantera’s “Revolution is My Name.”
