Stop, Drop and Rock! Swizz Noise Duo BUNKR Unveil Their Noisy New Single “Schluss” [Exclusive Premiere]
STOP! what you’re doing…. we’ve got a special one for you today, with the premiere of “Schluss,” the latest track from Swiss noise rock duo, Bunkr.
We got a special one for you today, with the premiere of “Schluss,” the latest track from Switzerland duo Bunkr. This is in anticipation of the release of their new record of the same name that is due out on March 29th via Cold Smoke Records in tandem with Division Records. Bunkr came together in 2014 and the motivation behind the project was fueled through the desire of two talented musicians wanting to travel outside of their comfort zone. Once they started jamming together, they set their interests on creating seismic, noisy, hypnotic rock with unconventional musical structures. Drummer Iannis Valgini and guitarist Kevin Udry are both self-taught musicians who have been playing together since 2011. It’s difficult to compare them or their sound to any other act. You’ll just have to hear for yourself! You can also check them out live at the dates below. May dates are also in the works.
Checking in with a comment on “Schluss,” the duo said, “Schluss’ is one of the first songs we’ve written, it has undergone a lot of changes and optimizations in recent years, and for us, it’s probably the hit of the record! But with its nine minutes, it is probably the longest hit in history! The song is characterized by two loops and a very massive end. A beautiful challenge to play live! It makes your head twirl and then take you to the beach for a while and we go on a little history class on how to play stoner rock in three riffs!”
Tour Dates:
03/30 – Album Release Party @ Bikini Test (La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland)
04/20 – Nouveau Monde (Fribourg, Switzerland)
