The new single from SATE’s forthcoming new album, The Fool, is officially released tomorrow, but you can check it out right here today, and it’s a scorcher!! Citing bands like Black Sabbath, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, and Kate Bush as some of her inspirations, Sate’s love of music may seem to have no rhyme or reason – but she brings elements of all of these acts to her studio material and her live performances. Look no further than “Dirty Little Lie” for proof of this.
““Dirty Little Lie” is about control. Succumbing to it or taking it the @#$% back. It’s also about the devil card in the tarot. It’s not meant to be preachy. It’s meant to shine a light in the murk of our conditionings and ask who are you under the influence of; the angel or the devil?”
Upcoming SATE Live Shows:
02/05 – Berlin Under A – NYC
02/07 – Megaphono Festival – Ottawa, ON
02/15 – Horseshoe Tavern – Toronto, ON
