Happy New Year! It’s the start of another new week here at PureGrainAudio so, to set you going, we’ve pulled together ten new songs, videos, and bands that have recently landed in our inbox that we think you should check out. Enjoy!
1. Master’s Call – “From Once Beneath The Cursed”
– With the release of their debut EP Morbid Black Trinity looming, Master’s Call have released a new music video for “From Once Beneath The Cursed”.
2. Pernicion – “The Darkness Comes”
– Osmose Productions having set February 22nd as the international release date for Pernicon’s highly anticipated debut EP, Seek What They Sought, has now released a new track “The Darkness Comes”.
3. Norilsk – “Weepers Of The Land
– Canadian death/doom duo Norislk have released a video for the title track of their upcoming EP, Weepers Of The Land.
4. Northshore – “Shedding Skin”
– North-East England based four-piece pop-punk band, Northshore, have released “Shedding Skin”, the second track from their upcoming EP For What It’s Worth.
5. Newton Circus – “Lost Without You”
– Singapore’s alt-indie quartet Newton Circus have released a brand new track in the form of “Lost Without You”, the single being the band’s first new track of 2019.
6. Continuum – “Release From Flesh And Blood”
– Californian technical death metal behemoths Continuum have unveiled “Release From Flesh And Blood” taken from their sophomore album Designed Obsolescence, which they will unleash on 22nd February via Unique Leader records.
7. Volcano – “Naked Prey”
– Volcano have released their first ever music video for the track “Naked Prey” which is taken from their forthcoming album, The Island. The San Diego-based five-piece features members of Joy, Harsh Toke, Loom and Radio Moscow. The Island will be released via Tee Pee Records on February 15, 2019.
8. Lorna Shore – “Darkest Spawn”
– New Jersey-based deathcore outfit Lorna Shore have released a brutal new single called “Darkest Spawn”, out on Outerloop Records/Cooking Vinyl.
9. Aenimus – “The Dark Triad”
– Bay Area natives Aenimus have announced that their upcoming sophomore album, Dreamcatcher, will be released on February 22nd via Nuclear Blast Records. Ahead of the release, the band has just issued their second single, “The Dark Triad”.
10. Keuning – “Prismism”
– Keuning, founding member and guitarist from The Killers, will release Prismism on January 25th. The album is a collection of 14 tracks – with all the instruments, save some drum parts, played by Keuning himself – which, like the title says, sees things from all sides, focusing on details without missing the big picture. Keuning has posted the video for the title track online.
