Blackened death metallers Diabolical release their new single and music video titled “Betrayal” on Friday, January 18. This is a second single off their upcoming studio album titled Eclipse, which is due out on February 15th.

“The lyrical content of this song is based around the subject of betrayal and is consciously written to serve different ontological realities, whether it’s on a global or a personal scale. The musical side of things is heavily influenced by some of my all-time favourite musicians and big chords are to be expected. Force the end!”, comments drummer Pär Johansson.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
