Ministry and the legend Al Jourgensen capped their 2018 tour, playing two shows in L.A. at the Fonda Theatre. We were there for one of them and we got all the photos for you.
Ministry capped their 2018 tour, playing two shows in L.A. at the Fonda Theatre. Helmsman Al Jourgensen (vocals, guitar, harmonica), along with Sin Quirin (guitar), Cesar Soto (guitar), Tony Campos (bass), Derek Abrams (drums), and John Bechdel (keys), performed a two-segment set of material, both new and old.
After impressive sets from openers Carpenter Brut and Alien Weaponry, Ministry walloped their hometown crowd, playing 2018’s AmeriKKKant in its entirety, followed by several classic cuts. Revolting Cocks vocalist and keyboardist Chris Connelly and Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro joined the band onstage to perform “Everyday Is Halloween” acoustically, closing the night in an unexpected way. I’d say a perfect way, actually.
Enter the “Twilight Zone” with this epic video from last year’s AmeriKKKant.
