Break My Fall are ready to “Light It Up” with their new lyric video, which we are exclusively premiering today! The Dallas, Texas modern rock group has a new record coming out in the spring of 2019, so this will act as a special taste of what’s soon to come. If you just can’t wait for the album and need this song, we welcome you to grab a copy right here.
In reference to the new song, singer Jared Bishop commented, “‘Light it Up’ is a story of overcoming a toxic relationship. That relationship not necessarily of a human nature. Moving away from that, and finding happiness once again. It was written during a transitional state for all members, as we were all coming together to form Break My Fall which is exactly what this band has done for us, it has broken our collective fall.”
Break My Fall is a bit of a difficult band to define because they are quite unlike most others. In a modern world of homogenized music and culture, this group is out to try something new, but not scare you off with silly, over-the-top experimentation. What truly defines the group is the soaring vocals of Bishop, coupled with the hard wall of guitars. This is a hard-hitting power rock group that’s into hook-laden, well-defined crunch that we’re pretty certain you’ll quite enjoy.
