Continuing the build up to their eagerly awaited new EP Falling, Faster which lands at the end of the month, Bradford three piece Stand Alone have unveiled their latest music video for their newest single.

Stand Alone have released “Repose En Paix” which is the follow up to their last single, the very successful “Never Stand Alone”, which enjoyed extensive UK radio airplay in the Spring and early Summer. The track is a hugely personal one for one member of the band, frontman Gavin Stevenson, as he explains below:

“”Repose En Paix” translates as rest in peace in French. This song I wrote lyrics for in the days after the Paris terror attacks in 2015. I was at a gig that night myself and the realisation that we could all be under threat at any point really made me sick. It also made me more determined than ever that we should never let these people win. So the song is a tribute to the victims of the night but also a war cry to everyone to stand up for what you believe in and love your life to the full. That way we always win.”

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
