Even with the “I Got A Letter” Music Video, MALACODA Can’t Shake Their ‘Restless Dreams’ [Exclusive Premiere]
Lifted from their latest Rockshots Records album, Restless Dreams, Canadian dark metal band Malacoda have debuted the brand new “I Got A Letter” music video.
Canadian dark metal band Malacoda are keeping the momentum going with their brand new “I Got A Letter” music video! The song can be found on their latest Rockshots Records album, Restless Dreams, which was just released two weeks ago in North America (last week in Europe) and is a full-on musical journey inspired by the highly popular horror video game Silent Hill 2.
If you enjoy video games and dark metal, what really could be better? The album’s storyline follows that of a broken man’s journey through the ghost town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his head wife asking him to meet her there. Through this journey, the record brings to life the oppressive and claustrophobic atmosphere that encompasses the town that is eerie, yet thought-provoking. If you’re willing to embark on the journey of Restless Dreams, be prepared for a spooky trip into the unknown.
Malacoda was created by Lucas Di Mascio, who originally intended the now-full band to be just his own recording project. Di Mascio had been studying Literature and Religion in university and was seeking an outlet for his ideas. Things quickly changed and a group formed. The new album follows the six-track EP Ritualis Aeterna, which dropped in December of 2016.
An equally solid song, check out the video for “Mannequin Heart” here.
