Rochester, New York’s psychedelic stoners, King Buffalo, are once again firing up their smoke machines and weaving a hazy-yet-blissful tapestry of bluesy rock goodness with the release of their recent album, Longing to Be the Mountain. The six-song bong gong dropped on October 12th (do yourself a favour and grab a copy, or some sweet merch, here) and is today being followed-up with the guys’ video for the satellite smashing single, “Cosmonaut”.

Checking in with a comment on the track, drummer Scott Donaldson said, “‘Cosmonaut’ always had a very ethereal and spacey vibe throughout the writing process. Once we began to record, it took a life of its own with its overall production. Bringing it to life visually we asked our friend and creative genius Mike Turzanski. It’s exciting to see the reflections of our visions combined with his in both the audio and visual realms.”

In case you’ve yet to hear the entirety of Longing To Be The Mountain, here it is.
