Black metal legends Behemoth brought their dark and eerie vibe to Toronto’s The Opera House on November 6th. They are currently on tour with Swedish death metal band At The Gates and American black metallers Wolves In The Throne Room. Each act put on an amazing set and, honestly, this might have been one of the best live shows I have ever been to in my life.

Wolves In The Throne Room opened up the show and set the fast pace for the rest of the evening. As they drank their wine mid-set, they decided to burn some sage and cleanse the arena. At The Gates followed and opened up with high energy, getting the crowd moving and moshing like crazy! The energy in the room was sky high and at this point, everyone was ready to see what Behemoth had in store.

When they emerged, each member of Behemoth came on stage one by one in their visually stunning costumes and got right into their set which immediately took things to another level. After each song, they had a costume change, with each getting better and better. This was definitely one of the best live shows I have had the pleasure of seeing thus far in my concert-going career.
