With Their New Single LA’s UNIFORM STANDARD Confirm They Have a “Filthy Mouth”

Hollywood, California. The home of the stars, the wannabe stars and hard-assed rock from the relentless four-piece known as Uniform Standard. We’re here to acquaint you better with these rising stars, with their latest single “Filthy Mouth.”

Led by the intoxicatingly talented frontwoman Dana Andrews, this foursome pack a punch with a blend of hard rock, country, and blues on “Filthy Mouth” that deliver a track full of charismatic and alluring character. Uniform Standard are often referred to as the “local supergroup” in LA as a result of Dana’s involvement in the CBS talent show Rockstar: Supernova, hosted by the legendary guitarist Dave Navarro. Dana grew up in Augusta, Georgia waiting for her big shot which came when she not only became a contestant on the show but wound up as part of the top sixteen finalists in 2006.

After relocating to Los Angeles in 2009, Dana worked on various projects ranging in different musical genres. She then became the lead singer of Uniform Standard, which also features former Miggs bassist Mark “Pork Chop” Baker. The band has remained a mainstay of the local scene, frequently selling out local venues such as The Viper Room, House of Blues, Bardot, The Globe, Molly Malone’s and The Silverlake Lounge. Uniform Standard has also appeared on the CBS show Music Uncovered. With a lot of history together now, Uniform Standard sound tighter than ever and are on to even bigger things to come.
