Pulling from a wide breadth of musical influences, the musicians which make up the Charlotte, NC-based all-female rock/metal wrecking crew that is Reason|Define, have forged they own aggressive take on post-hardcore. Now, following up their March 23, 2017, full-length release, Far From Strangers, the ladies are prepping their sophomore album, In Memory… and teasing it via this exclusive premiere of the lead single “Pointing Fingers”.

Still leveraging the massive momentum gained following their 2016 win at the Carolina Music Awards as “Best Rock Band of the Year”, Reason|Define have their sights set on a very busy 2019 and beyond. Commenting on the new track and direction of the music, bassist and backing vocalist Caitlin Rutkowski said:

“‘Pointing Fingers’ is the debut single from our upcoming sophomore album, ‘In Memory…’ As a band, we believe that it is important to confront issues that we are passionate about. One of those issues is the sexual harassment of women in different ways throughout today’s society. Writing this song was an outlet to try to understand the harassment we have personally experienced as women. ‘Pointing Fingers’ is our way of standing in front of our demons, looking them in the eyes, and saying, “enough is enough!””

Easily their most popular video on YouTube, this is the video for “Kingdom”.
