Not Dead Yet brings America’s hardcore heavy-hitters, Terror back to Toronto for its 8th festival! Terror is currently on their “Total Retaliation Tour” celebrating the release of their brand new record Total Retaliation! Along for this massive tour are some of the best hardcore bands in North America, and they all make amazing music!
Opening the show was Candy, who put on an amazing set – everyone was loving the music. After them was Year of the Knife. It was my first time ever seeing them and I’m very happy with their sound. They have heavy songs and are amazing live. Up next was the old school favourites, Backtrack, followed by Harms Way who set the mood up perfectly before the main event.
Terror has been around since 2002 and the passion they have for hardcore music is inspiring, and the fact that they just released a brand new album shows that they still have more fight in them and are not giving up any time soon. The venue was sold-out and packed to capacity, with no one in the room standing around. They were either in the pit, or stage diving into the massive crowd. Terror ended the show with the stage filled with fans singing every lyric and everyone grabbed the mic. It was an amazing experience and a special one to witness.
