Wake up to “Romance” with DEAD LUCID’s New Single [Exclusive Premiere]

Are you ready for some “Romance?” Yes, we are too, so we’re bringing you the exclusive premiere of indie, psych, post-punk band Dead Lucid’s new single! The band is a tight sounding three-piece from the Windy City of Chicago that formed about three years ago. Their style is kind of classic and kind of new, which creates a balance between acid rock and bass-driven post-punk. Think of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Joy Division and The Stooges and Dead Lucid falls somewhere within that diverse range.

Their self-titled debut, five-song EP was released in October 2016, which you can find anywhere that you can stream music. Now, they have returned with a new single, which means that it’s only a matter of time before even more new music is headed our way. Until then, we’ve got this dope new, love-filled track to tie us over.

Commenting on the new song, the band collectively stated, “This is Romance. A song that features a rawer post-punk sound than our previous tracks. It was developed directly from a single jam session, powered by a distinct and driving bass line. Also, it doesn’t suck.”
