Cincinnati, OH’s Static Tension, brandishing a raw, grungy metal sound akin to old-school Alice In Chains, though still very much their own, are stoked to debut the exclusive premiere of their song “Bury My Body”. ” The up-and-coming act’s new single is lifted from their forthcoming new studio recording, Ashes to Animation, which is slated for a January 2019 release (and will be available right here).
Speaking of the new tune and meaning thereof, the band commented:
“‘Bury My Body’ reflects on feelings of isolation and worthlessness, which are, sadly, all too common in today’s society. So many icons have been lost to suicide in recent years, that we feel this is a very relevant topic. Making such feelings known is, in its own way, cathartic, and we want people to realize that if they feeling this way they are not alone. Life can be hard, and sometimes downright depressing, but we are all in this together, learning to live one day at a time. Be open with your feelings, and reach out to someone if you need to talk. You will find that you are never alone.”
