Panic! At The Disco @ Scotiabank Arena (Toronto, ON) on July 22, 2018 [Photos & Show Review]
This past Sunday night DCD2 / Fueled by Ramen’s Las Vegas rockers Panic! At The Disco caused quite the stir at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

This past Sunday night Panic! At The Disco was causing a panic at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. You see, at the very last minute both opening acts, Hayley Kiyoko and Arizona, had to be cancel their performances due to some sort of logistical production glitch at the border, leaving Las Vegas rockers Panic! At The Disco to fend for themselves. Doors were initially supposed to open at 6:30 which ended up being closer to 8 in reality. It sucked for sure, but didn’t put a damper on the evening as amped up Panic! fans were stoked to see the band go on at their regularly scheduled time.
Frontman Brendon Urie certainly does know how to make a dramatic entrance. There was a giant screen on stage displaying a 25-minute countdown and once the timer got down to 5 minutes, the house lights dimmed and the audience were on there feet and cheering in anticipation. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…. Lights out! The music began and one single spot light shone down on an area by the stage extension. Suddenly he (Urie) came flying up from below stage. It looked as though he’d been shot from a cannon. Wow!! Now that was very cool.
Hey, dude, “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time.
One side of the stage had a string section, the other a horn section, the drummer dead centre with the guitarist and bassist all over… and I believe there was a keyboardist somewhere as well. It was my first time seeing this band and even I, a seasoned metalhead, have to admit, they’re pretty cool to watch. It was a very energetic and visually-pleasing show.
