MASSIVE WAGONS Introduce You to the “Northern Boy” with Stream of New Track
Britain’s Massive Wagons have kept it coming with their new single “Northern Boy,” from their new record Full Nelson.
Britain’s Massive Wagons have kept it coming with their new single “Northern Boy,” from their new record Full Nelson. In contrast to some of the band’s other recently released tracks like “China Plates”, “Billy Balloon Head” and “Robot (Trust in Me)” which look critically at the obsession with social media as well as intolerance and racism, “Northern Boy” is a personal and heartfelt tribute to the region in which the band lived and grew up as children.
Lead singer Baz Mills said, “Certainly when I write my lyrics for (guitarist) Adam’s (Thistlethwaite) music, I really do try and write them as honestly as I can. Honesty is my key. I like to make my lyrics interesting, funny, cryptic, sad; but over all that I believe honesty is the secret. I truly believe people will see through clichéd, made-up, recycled lyrics, and I want people to identify and relate to our music.”
