As previously reported, New Jersey punk three-piece, Aspiga, are set to release their new new album Dragged Through the Years digitally on September 7th, and in a limited vinyl run via A-F Records. Now, ahead of the album’s release and the recently-announced slew of fall show dates, we’re stoked to help premiere the trio’s new single “Beautiful Wounds”!

“Beautiful Wounds” is one of three new songs found on the album, which also includes remixed tunes from prior releases. The full-length was mastered at West Westside Music by Alan Douches and copies can be pre-ordered from Bandcamp and A-F Records.

Commenting on the fresh new track, the band noted:

“‘Beautiful Wounds’ is the first track from our upcoming collection LP ‘Dragged Through the Years’. I wrote this song in 2014 and we originally tracked it for a Converse Rubber Tracks Session. We weren’t in love with the recording so we decided to record it again with Mike Bardzik at Noisy Little Critter Studios. Mike has worked with some great bands and this was one of the few times that we did not record with our usual engineer, Dave Downham, at The Gradwell House. This song was going to appear on a seven-inch release, but that fizzled out. ‘Beautiful Wounds’ is about embracing every part of your journey in life. Even the ugly parts.”
