TROPHY EYES Want to Be “More Like You” with Their Latest Song Stream
Newcastle, Australia natives, Trophy Eyes have released a new track called “More Like You,” the second single from their new album The American Dream.

Newcastle, Australia natives, Trophy Eyes have released a new track called “More Like You,” the second single from their new album The American Dream. This is the band’s third album and is based on the idea that there is still utopia left in the world, a place where a person can start over and live a peaceful life. It also serves as a coming of age tale for lead singer John Floreani as he takes an introspective look at who he is today.
“This record is about my life in present time and a reflection on who I was and how I got here,” Floreani explained. “As much of the other Trophy Eyes works have been the hate, violence, addiction and heartbreak I fought so desperately to leave behind, this record is about shedding one’s past, transitioning from boy to man, making a home and wanting nothing more in life than to sit and enjoy the silence.”
