AYOWA’s Noisepop Single “Sommer” Gets Some OSCAR BANDERSEN Remix Love [Exclusive Premiere]

Copenhagen’s noisepop duo, AyOwA, which consists of long-time friends Nicolai Kornerup and Hannah Schneider, are set to issue their four-track Sommer (Remixes) EP tomorrow, on June 29th. Originally released on May 13, 2016, the “Sommer” single quickly went on to become one of the the group’s staple tracks and now, about two years later, AyOwA is serving up three dope remixes: one each from Marquis, Massasolo, and Oscar Bandersen, the last of which we’re premiering here!

Dark, ethereal but still very moving, the electronic team makes use of old-school technologies such as reel-to-reel tape recorders and modular synths to create their output, all of which is topped by Schneider’s sung-in-Danish vocals. Live, AyOwA have a third member in drummer Anders Meinhardt who lays the beats for the band’s captivating performances. Get to know their music today!
