WAX IDOLS to Set Out on Major North American Tour This Summer

Oakland, California’s Wax Idols have announced an extensive lineup of fall tour dates in support of their latest record Happy Ending. Happy Ending is the band’s follow up to the critically acclaimed album American Tragic. Happy Ending is an exploration of the abstraction and finality of death from philosophical, political, and personal perspectives.

The summer tour will include shows in most major cities in the U.S. and accompanying the band on select dates will be a very talented lineup, including Screature, Dead Spells, Houses of Heaven, Shadow Age, SRSQ and Foie Gras. Happy Ending has become the band’s most popular release, recorded last year at Ruminator Audio in San Francisco. It is a very personal record, an exploration of the finality of death from different points of view such as philosophical and political perspectives.
