Stepping out from Massachusetts and New Hampshire, melodic post-hardcore quintet Northwoods have released a full stream of their brand new record Wasteland. The album was recorded this past winter at Cinquequarti Music Studio and is a reflection of their diverse background, drawing influence from the chaotic sound of Converge, Botch and Swedish cult band Breach as well as the fury and melody of noise rock like Unsane.

Lyrically, Wasteland deals with the denial of the promises for a better future, taking its inspiration from the closed and cut off cities of the former Soviet Union where a very high standard of living came at the price of radioactive contamination.
