FAN EXPO Adds the Cast of ‘Black Lightning’ and Comic Creator JIM BYRNE to 2018 Guest Line-up

Lightning will strike three times at Fan Expo 2018!

The largest fan convention in Canada has added the case of the CW superhero drama Black Lightning to the guest line-up for this year’s event. The three members of the superpowered Pierce family, Cress Williams (Black Lightning/Jefferson Pierce), Nafessa Williams (Anissa Pierce/Thunder) and China Anne McClain (Jennifer Pierce), will be at the Metro Toronto Convention Center from August 31 to September 2.

Fan Expo also announced that legendary comic book artist and writer John Byrne, best known for his work on the 1986 relaunch of Superman as well as X-Men and Fantastic Four.

The cast of Black Lightning and Byrne join a growing list of guests that includes Evangeline Lilly (Ant-Man and The Wasp, Lost, The Hobbit Trilogy) and Michael J. Fox (The Back to the Future Trilogy).

Fan Expo will also welcome Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham, The Walking Dead), Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic World 2, Thor: Ragnarok), Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and 2, Doctor Who) Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time, House MD) and Stranger Things Joe Keery.

The event will also see a reunion of the cast of the Back to the Future trilogy including Fox and his co-stars Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Tom Wilson. The cast of The Princess Bride will also reunite with Cary Elwes, Wallace Shawn and Chris Sarandon scheduled to appear.
