Just ahead of their upcoming CMW showcase on Wednesday, May 9th, at The Piston (the band hits the wood at 10 pm), we’re stoked to get everyone hyped on Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario-based synth rock quartet, To The Trees, with a premiere of the video for their single “Seasons”. The tune is taken from the group’s self-titled, six-song debut which dropped on April 6th, (stream and purchase it RIGHT HERE) and was recorded with producer Chris Stringer (Broken Social Scene, The Arkells, Tokyo Police Club) at Union Sound Company.

The foursome, which consists of vocalist Katelyn Bearinger, guitarist Mike Johnson, keyboardist/vocalist Trevor Martin, and drummer/percussionist Jake Bursey, worked with Kitchener’s one-person shop, The Wolf of Bees Workshops, which wrote, filmed, and edited the video for “Seasons”.

Commenting on the single, the band declared: “There is an inner voice that guides us and must be followed; must be listened to. We may stray from it, seek it, or be deaf to its presence but all the while it is there – our inner strength, our own truth, our compass.”

Hooked? Need more jams? Check out the previous video for the track “Run From Fire”.
