Time to Light Up STONE DEAF’s Brand New “Boozy Spool” Video [Exclusive Premiere]
The weedian-friendly foursome, Stone Deaf, features a delightful blend of stoner, heavy and desert rock, as found on their upcoming full-length offering, Royal Burnout. Check out a sampling via the video for riff-heavy new single “Boozy Spool”.
Ahhh, Colorado… Home to the Rocky Mountains, massive, sprawling National Parks, tons of legal weed and, of course, soothing, smokey stoner rock bands like today’s featured act, Stone Deaf. This relatively new, weedian-friendly foursome features a delightful blend of stoner, heavy and desert rock, as found on their upcoming full-length offering, Royal Burnout. The album’s eight bong-ready tracks will hit on May 4th, and can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp here. This all said, today we’re stoked to stoke the group’s fire by debuting the riff-heavy new video for the single “Boozy Spool”.
Expect Royal Burnout to release via the band’s new label, Coffin & Bolt, in both CD and digital formats (and obviously via streaming services), but also with a vinyl pressing to follow. The record was recorded produced, recorded, and mastered at The Launch Complex by Dustin Chapin. Some upcoming show dates may also be found below with many more to be added shortly.
Earlier this week, we flipped a note to the dudes to which they responded with the following statement about the song and video:
“‘Boozy Spool’ is the mile marker where you know you’ve gone too far to turn back. It’s a dooming euphoria of circus music droning in your head. Creating murky doubt that’s towering over you, casting a long shadow, as you flow through the motions of a heavy mess. An abrupt awakening into sanity, as the cart violently derails from the tracks, and now you feel very much alive.
Stone Deaf Show Dates:
05/11 – Mesa Theater – Grand Junction, CO
06/29 – 5 Star Bar – Los Angeles, CA
07/01 – Yucca Tap Room – Tempe, AZ
