We checked in with the dudes about the song to which they replied with the following collective statement:
“‘Burnt Out’ is one of our favourite songs to play live! This is partly due to its summery vibe that gets crowds moving after a long Canadian winter but also because we wrote it from a place of nostalgia and reflection. Drawing influence from some of our favourite bands like Jimmy Eat World and American Football, ‘Burnt Out’ is a reminder that these are the best days of our lives and we need to make the most of it. Hopefully we can pass on this feeling and provide the soundtrack to spark a crazy summer night or two!”
You’ve heard the song and grabbed yourself a free copy, but have you seen the “Burnt Out” video?
