“Run Run” Away from Your Daily Stress with STORYTOWN’s Newest Single [Exclusive Premiere]

Today, we’re pleased to debut a stream of the catchy new single “Run Run” from New York-based band, Storytown. The addictive single is upbeat, uplifting and a perfect example of this act’s modern mix of indie and Southern rock which draws comparisons to REM or Talking Heads.

For those new to the group, Storytown is lead by guitarist/songwriter Guy Story. Born in Mississippi, Guy has spent a lifetime pursuing music whilst also working in the technology sector (Bell Laboratories, Audible.com, Amazon). Partnering with Rick Wagner (bass), Charly Roth (keys), and Tony Cruz (drums), he’s now taking a break from the 9-5 to focus on music full time.

Commenting on the new track, Guy noted: “I’m from the South, so I come from a culture of sitting on the porch and telling stories. This song’s story is thrill of the chase, fear of commitment, and the deep need to be loved.”
