LAVA DOLLS Preview Entire 5-Track ‘Little Secrets’ EP Ahead of Release [Exclusive Premiere]
Canadian rockers Lava Dolls are debuting their entire 5-song, Steve Albini-recorded EP Little Secrets ahead of its March 23rd release.
We previously featured Hamilton, Ontario rock three-piece, Lava Dolls in late November of 2017 when we teamed with the guys to offer a free high quality MP3 download of their single “The Lucky Ones”. Fast track several months and we’re back with more action from the Lava Dolls camp, this time a premiere of their entire 5-song EP Little Secrets!
Little Secrets is due out on March 23rd and you should be able to snag your own copy via Bandcamp. A humble trio of talented Canadian musicians, we’ll help out by bragging for them. About what, you ask? Well, the EP was independently recorded in analog, in just under four days, at Chicago’s Electrical Audio with none other than producer extraordinaire, Steve Albini, known for his work with the likes of Nirvana and Pixies.
Commenting on their new EP, the band stated: “Little Secrets is the perfect calling card for this band. In five songs it takes you from the borders of hardcore punk to award winning singer-songwriter. This wasn’t the plan when we set out, but it’s what ended up happening because we refused to censor the creative process.”
