Bohnes is the new solo project from Alex DeLeon of The Cab and he has released a preview of his new record 206: Act 1 with “12 Rounds” which you can check out below. It’s a catchy song that features a lot of instrumentation at work, from haunting organs to heavy hitting percussion. For the album, DeLeon collaborated from a wide array of producers and collaborators, including Malay, Matt Johnson (Matt and Kim), Grandson, Mitchy Collins (Lovelytheband) and Bryan Sammis (The Neighbourhood, La Bouquet). This has helped in creating the sonically diverse experience you will now hear on 206: Act 1. DeLeon doesn’t quite consider it a concept record, but there is a consistent theme that threads these tracks together in theme and mood.
