Not only is it the release date for their new album While The Wheels Still Turn, but we are premiering the brand new lyric video for single Greystone Canyon’s “Take Us All”! Hailing from Australia, the band is carrying on the rock tradition that began in the 1970s and 1980s with the legendary AC/DC and Rose Tattoo. Interestingly, the phrase “Greystone Canyon” is inspired by the freedom of wide open landscapes, something Australia and America very much have in common.
While The Wheels Still Turn as an album is inspired by the band members’ love of old western films and the images these types of films conjure, such as the vast plains, endless horizons and the freedom of the Wild West. It was tracked at Goatsound Studios in Melbourne, Australia and then mixed in Canada by Grammy nominated producer and legend Glen Robinson (Annihilator, Queensryche and Voivod).
As vocalist/guitarist Darren Cherry proudly states, “We really wanted to make an album similar to old Ozzy Osbourne record where songs like ‘I Don’t Know’ and ‘Goodbye To Romance’ can sit comfortably. This is music from the heart and soul!”
While The Wheels Still Turn is out today in Canada, the United States and Europe with its Australian release date coming on March 12th.
