Chicago-based experimental rock trio RLYR (pronounced “Relayer”) have released a stream of the song “L.Layer” from their sophomore album Actual Existence. The new four song record expands on the high energy and anthemic catharses of the band’s debut album Delayer. Actual Existence is a step forward in how RLYR are able to play their instruments, displaying a new level of complexity and skill. Formed in early 2014, RLYR quickly caught on with their live performances which helped land supporting slots for bands such as Deafheaven, Nothing, The Twilight Sad, United Nations, Oxbow, and This Will Destroy You.
