PRIMUS to Head Out on Summer Tour with Original Lineup In Place
Primus has announced an extensive summer tour with metal titans Mastodon as they continue to support their ninth studio album, The Desaturating Seven.

Primus has announced an extensive summer tour with metal titans Mastodon as they continue to support their ninth studio album, The Desaturating Seven. The tour will begin on May 6th and head across the country before ending two months later in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Desaturating Seven is somewhat of a throwback to Primus’ early days, in terms of sound and style. It also marks the return of the definitive and classic Primus lineup, consisting of singer/bassist Les Claypool, guitarist Larry “Ler” LaLonde, and drummer Tim “Herb” Alexander. This is the first album consisting of all three members since 1995.
“It’s a story about gluttonous individuals sucking the colors out of the world,” commented Les Claypool. “The overuse of resources by the greedy elite, and how the meek masses can overcome them in the end by unifying. It seemed pretty relevant these days.”
