German/Japanese originating metal act I Promised Once take inspiration from horror cinema in their new single “Picture Perfect”.
German/Japanese originating metal act I Promised Once take inspiration from horror cinema in their new single “Picture Perfect”. The track tells a lyrical narrative that borrows elements from Stanley Kubrick‘s classic horror film The Shining. The story sheds light on how seemingly healthy relationships can take swift dark turns, something which applies to us all.
With members from around the world, I Promised Once create a blend of metalcore, EDM, and even hip hop. After a string of EP’s, the band is ready to release their debut album Salvation, which is scheduled for February 23rd. Check out a stream of “Picture Perfect” below.
