Coat Check Girl are riding high these days. Their last single “Audience of None” has garnered over 80,000 plays and now they’re back with a new single called “Awake.” The song has an easy-to-move-to vibe and a high energy that’s definitely a fan pleaser.
“Awake’ is one of those songs that just happened,” commented vocalist Andre Rodriguez. “I was just messing around with the guitar one day and the main bass line just popped in my head. That inspired the entire song, we decided to structure the whole thing based on it, and once we had the full body of the song, Nate wrote one of my favorite solos ever.”
