We don’t often (if ever) feature bands from Minsk, Belarus, but upon hearing the tunes from the quintet Weesp, we were sold. The electronic-tinged rock/metal group released their thirteen-track full-length The Void in August 2015 (grab it on Bandcamp or iTunes) and, as of today, we’re offering a free download of the killer single “Solar Empire” which features a guest spot from Norma Jean‘s Cory Brandan.

Hopefully these tunes will get you amped on the band, just in time for their sophomore Wieslawski brothers-produced full-length Black Sails, which is due in early 2018. Expect three new singles and music videos thereof, plus a European tour (taking part in Poland and Germany in early November).
