The Future Looks Bright with HEAL.’s “Skylight” Music Video [Exclusive Premiere]

This Long Island, NY-based band is all ready to self-release their debut album No Love / No Light on November 10th, and we’re amping up the masses with this premiere of the single and video for “Skylight”. The track is a window into the quintet’s new offering, produced by Gregory Thomas of Misery Signals and recorded at Silverbullet Studios.

The band’s vocalist, Ryan, commented on the song saying: “‘Skylight’ is essentially about the final moments of one’s life. The atmosphere, the acceptance of one’s life decisions, and the uncertainty of the afterlife. The title comes from the perspective, one lying on their death bed staring up at the skylight breathing in their final breaths. The thought of death has always been something that has plagued me as I aged, the finality of it is almost paralyzing, and that was my approach to writing the lyrics, I wanted to write something that reflected that.”
